Vehicle Power Gains
Find out how much extra power and torque your vehicle can gain with a professional ECU remap from Real Torque Performance.
What Gains Can You Expect?
ECU remapping unlocks power and torque that manufacturers deliberately leave on the table. Every vehicle is different, but here are typical Stage 1 gains for some of the most popular vehicles we remap.
| Vehicle | Engine | Stock BHP | Tuned BHP | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ford Fiesta ST | 1.5 EcoBoost | 200 | 235 | +35 bhp |
| VW Golf GTD | 2.0 TDI | 184 | 225 | +41 bhp |
| BMW 320d | 2.0d | 190 | 235 | +45 bhp |
| Audi A3 | 2.0 TDI | 150 | 195 | +45 bhp |
| Ford Transit Custom | 2.0 TDCi | 130 | 175 | +45 bhp |
| Mercedes C220d | 2.1 CDI | 170 | 210 | +40 bhp |

| VW Transporter T6 | 2.0 TDI | 150 | 200 | +50 bhp |
Gains shown are typical Stage 1 results and may vary by vehicle condition and specification. Use the lookup tool above for accurate figures for your exact vehicle.
How Are Gains Measured?
Power and torque gains are measured using a rolling road dynamometer (dyno). The vehicle is run on the dyno before and after the remap to produce accurate before-and-after figures. This ensures every gain is real, measurable, and verifiable — not estimated or guessed.
All remap files used by Real Torque Performance are developed using dyno data and tested extensively before being applied to customer vehicles. We use only proven calibrations that work within the safe mechanical limits of your engine. Learn more about our ECU remapping process.
