Our Story

Real Torque Performance was founded by Anthony, a car enthusiast with a passion for getting the most out of every engine. After years of working on vehicles and seeing how much performance manufacturers leave locked away in the ECU, the decision to turn that knowledge into a professional mobile service was a natural one.

Based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, we started by serving local customers across South Wales. Word spread quickly, and today we travel across Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bristol, the Midlands, and right across the UK. Every remap we carry out uses the same professional-grade equipment and proven calibration files — whether we're on a driveway in Barry or a car park in Birmingham.

We believe getting your vehicle remapped should be simple, honest, and hassle-free. That's why we come to you, explain everything before we start, and only charge once you're happy with the results.

Our Equipment & Process

We use industry-leading diagnostic and tuning tools to read, calibrate, and write ECU data. Every remap file is developed using professional dynamometer data and tested extensively before being applied to a customer vehicle. We don't use generic off-the-shelf files — every calibration is matched to your specific engine and its requirements.

Before any work begins, we perform a full diagnostic scan to ensure your vehicle is in good health. After the remap, we run post-installation checks and a road test to verify everything is running smoothly. Your original factory file is always saved, so every remap is fully reversible.
